Cliff

In the late 70’s Cliff Sledge was a suspected Klan member. Burning crosses in his back yard. He had a scruffy beard and a lumberjack shirt with the sleeves rolled. He was on the road a lot, rumour was that he occupied jobs as a taxi driver & truck driver. He was never approachable, his neighbours would constantly complain to the authorities about “loud noises” at 2:00 AM in the morning. The years rolled by and Cliff got married and had kids…surprisingly. The crosses were burnt no more and all was peaceful.
Obviously Cliff had a dark secret. At the start of the 80’s Cliff returned home after a long drive north. His family were butchered and laid to rest with the other bodies in the back yard. A burning cross lit. The police arrested Cliff and he was sentenced to death. He pleaded innocence. For Cliff had a twin, Marvin. Marvin was a deranged psychotic. After Cliffs death, Marvin disappeared…maybe on a long truck drive?
